With 24 wooded campsites accommodating tent camping and RV’s, the campground at Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge is the ideal location for your next Georgia adventure.
At the top of a 25% incline, you will find each one of our well-maintained campsites is an easy pull-in or back-in site with water, power, grill and fire ring. A premier location for Georgia State parks camping, Amicalola Falls State Park’s two-dozen sites are in great shape with ample space and privacy. Campsites have a six-person occupancy limit, and tents must fit on designated tent pads. Check in services for campsites, are located at the lodge and ADA accessible camping is also available.
A recently renovated and updated comfort station with laundry facilities and ADA accessible restrooms and showers is located within the campground. Paved pathways make navigating the campground a breeze, while the proximity to the 729-foot Amicalola Falls – the tallest cascading waterfall in Georgia – and miles of hiking trails sets our Georgia mountain resort apart.

Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge has one of the most unique RV campgrounds in GA. Each “pull in” or “back in” site offers power, water, picnic table, grill and fire ring. RV campers should note the road to access the campground is at a 25% grade and may not be suited to the largest RV Camper models. We recommend coming prepared to use a low gear for hauling, while still meeting the park speed limit of 15 mph. Know your vehicle’s towing capacity and state of repair before attempting the climb.

Our campsites are well equipped for tent camping with level tent pad surfaces, ample space for your vehicle and plenty of privacy. Each site features power, water, a picnic table, grill and fire ring.
